Bet That Hurts.

Kettlebell's are NOW “in vogue”
Imported at ridiculous low prices, by people who mostly do not use them, some dangerous designs and in all shapes and sizes.

Take for example the guy who was not training and wanted to get back into some sort of shape he was sold a 25-kilo kettlebell and DVD simply because the “Russian Spetsnatz use them” big deal. This guy ended up using it as a doorstop.
AND
Another guy who bought a kettlebell and because it “rattled” contacted the company that sold it to him, he was told that there was a “gyroscope" inside and this “gyroscope” maintained the weight of the kettlebell wherever it goes!!” BUT IT “hits my wrist bone while performing cleans, snatches and pressing moves” their reply was “ allow the wrist to bend backwards with the kettlebell weight and the ball will land on the forearm”. He ended up with torn ligaments!

With a product that works and is probably one of the best training and conditioning tools ever also comes self-promoting kettlebell instructors.
Another guy who spoke to me with spondylosis who had not trained for many years told me his induction by his “kettlebell Instructor !!” non UKKA by the way, was to swing a 25-kilo kettlebell for reps.!!! And he found it hard!! There’s a surprise !!.

Newspaper reads: KETTLEBELLs are DANGEROUS.
It may happen. I hope doesn't’t, not only for myself but also for the humble kettlebell.
Can you see why?
Stay Strong.

Stan Pike. Chief Instructor UKKA.
