My background in combat sports goes back some twenty years. It began with judo training under my dad at the age of six. I then went through the Bruce Lee phase and began training in Lau Gar Kung Fu aged twelve, five years later I gained my 1st degree black sash and instructor award. From then I went back to judo and gained my 1st dan black belt within one year and became a coach shortly after. Some years later I became the Personal Safety Assessor for the British Judo Association in the Northern area and began working for the Home Office as a personal safety trainer for the police service. Moving on from this post I went to work for the British Judo Association as a schools development officer getting paid for encouraging young people to take up my hobby. I am constantly striving to improve my own conditioning for grappling sports and this is how I discovered Stan Pike and his Kettle bells. I’ve been using Kettle bells for quite a while now and have introduced many people to the benefits of them. Please feel free to contact me for training.
